CANADA REPORT

Greetings to all. We pray this finds you and your family doing well..

Last month we reported that we are planning to have a booth in the "Faith Pavilion" at the Zoomershow here in Toronto on October 29 and 30. Zoomer Media, owner of Vision TV and Joy TV 10 in Vancouver, are sponsors of this show and are providing this avenue to promote shows on their channels. (Anyone interested in information about this show can contact me by using the phone number or email address at the end of this report.)

We look forward to visiting with people who pass by our booth and will be handing out promotional materials. Readers of "Key Points" may remember back in the early 90s when a mail out program was carried on in the US called "One Nation Under God". In Canada, this program was called "Good News Is For Sharing". With the help of a group of brethren we developed a three lesson Bible course for this work and it proved useful in opening the door for follow up study across the country.

We have reworked that course by changing the heading to Key To The Kingdom and, since we use the New International Version on the program in Canada. we have changed the passages quoted in the course to NIV. (In Canada the NIV out sells all other versions by about 5 to 1. Since it is likely that most who watch the program have the NIV, we use it as our regular text on the program.)

We plan to have this set of lessons to give to visitors at our booth. We will also have other teaching and advertising items people to pick up.
